Historic

We have carried out various works at the Listed Meikleour House in Perthshire, including extensive internal refurbishment, new entrance portico and total replacement of the cantilevered balcony and handrail to the principal garden elevation.

"Meikleour House: built in 1730, added to by the renowned Scottish architect David Bryce in the 1860s and brought into the 21st century by Alastair MacIntyre and his associates at McInnes Gardner – a difficult job well done which required traditional materials and detailing and called for sensitivity to two periods of history one hundred years apart."
